I've enjoyed reading about what a fine shower the Leonids turned out to be.
Unfortunately, like a lot of people in the southeastern US, all we saw in
Louisiana were rain showers.  About 10.5 inches (26 cm) worth at my house.
We've been having a drought for a year and a half -- I should have known
which weekend would get rain!

Thanks to meteorobs, NAMN, and IMO -- at least I got to "see" the Leonids in
my mind's eye.
