I'm back from observing place near Figueres, located near the Spain-France
frontier line ( N 42? 23' 49", E 2? 44' 42"). Here the weather has been very
good with clear skies only slightly disturbed by some cirrus. First expected 2002
Leonids peak has shown with an amazing display,  reaching his top maybe over
4:04 U.T. and with rates about  20 meteors in 30 seconds  (Limiting magnitude
 4.8). At first look the ZHR at peak time reached over 3000 Met/hour  or more here
in Spain, North-east observing place.
