From: Michael Linnolt, Hawaii Date: Wed, 19 Nov 2003 07:53:44 -0500 (EST) Here in Hawaii, I had about a 2 hour "dark" window between when the LEO radiant rose a nd moonrise, so I observed from my roof in town under the moderate light pollution (LM ~5.5) Not ideal, but I think it was good enough for seeing some fainter meteors. Weath er conditions were a bit below average with a fair amount of fast-moving trade wind cl ouds obscuring parts of the sky. The clouds became worse during my 2nd hour. The first hour, just after radiant rise was extremely slow. Only some faint meteors, m ore SPO than LEO, and all the LEO were 4th or 5th magnitude. The second hour had a lit tle more action with a couple of nice bright LEO, but still less of them than the SPO. Overall, a very unimpressive 2 hours of meteorobs!
