     A hearty congratulations to all those who saw the L storm!  It must have
been incredible.  The entire night was overcast here on Sicily except for a
brief hole in the clouds around 0330 local.  What I saw through that
five-minute, 30 degree wide "hole" made me realize I was missing something
extraordinary!!  I estimated at least 500 an hour just from that tiny "peek at
the peak"!  It just wasn't to be from here.  Maybe next time...  LONG LIVE THE
LEONIDS!!!!
