This image of 55P/Tempel-Tuttle was obtained with a 60 cm Ritchey Chretien reflector working at f/5. This is a 300 second exposure taken with an Apogee AP-7 CCD. The field-of-view is 13.87 x 13.87 minutes, North is up. Comet 55P/Tempel-Tuttle was at a position 1.000 AU from the Sun and 1.089 AU from Earth (Elongation 57.3, Phase 56.2 degrees).
