Dr. Allan graduated from the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia, Norwhich, UK.

Research:

Spectroscopic studies of atmospheric trace compounds in the lower and upper atmosphere.

Research on Leonid MAC:

airglow and persistent train spectroscopy

For the NASA 1998 Leonid Multi-Instrument Aircraft Campaign, Dr. Allan installed and operated the University of East Anglia spectrograph onboard the Electra aircraft.
