I saw a few faint ones in the first hour. But during the second half there were a number of bright Leonids. One "fireball" at 23:10UT was exceptionally bright and blue. It went from the sickel to Procyon. Towards the morning I was typical Leonids. Those fast short ones quite close to the radiant. It was a good show given moon's phase. --- Date: Sat, 18 Nov 2000 06:01:36 GMT Leonids 2000,Express Report on 17th/18th night Observer: Vishnu Vardhan Date: 17/18th Nov 2000 Location: NewDelhi Country: India Long: 77.2E Latt: 28.6N Begin (UT) End (UT) Area LM Leo Spor 23:15(17th) 00:17(18th) 3 5.7 22 1 9 6 Report: Due to my poor health I was able to observe only for an hour.
