From Jim Ricardson, American Meteor Society, Tucson, AZ Date: Tue, 19 Nov 2002 06:21:30 -0700 The Mt. Lemmon team is now off-line and no longer observing. It was a nice show tonight -- not as good as last year -- but still very nice. Primary peak: about ZNR = 700 m/hr at 10:54-56 UTC Secondary peak: about ZHR = 260 m/hr at 11:50 UTC The shower was rich in faint meteors this year, which means that the numbers would probably have been a good bit higher without the moonlight. The 3.5 population index was calculated using my own worksheets (3.5 +/- 0.5), based upon the observations of two individuals as we were coming up on the US peak.
