I observed 415-545 am CST (I think 6 hours different from UT: I get
confused because part of the year we are on daylight savings time) Nov
13th.  Limiting mag. ~4.5 Moon overhead just out of field of view
(facing East).  McFarland Park, NE of Ames, Iowa, USA

I saw four Leonids:
436 am  -6      train lasting 25 seconds in bright Moon light
451 am  +3
504 am  +1      going toward N Apex sporadic radiant
515 am  +1

I saw no N Apex meteors.

   The west coast monsoons have again hit Vancouver Island wiping out any
hope of observing the Leonids.  Such is the luck of this game! :-(

I had planned to watch for the 1499 trail in the early morning hours 1200-1600 UT, but there was too much clouds and showers. Maybe could have seen a bolide, but with the bright moon anything faint would have been hopeless. Weather out here has been below normal for months now, especially at low elevations - maybe the summits have fared better?
