Until last night, they were seeing about 600 meteors per hour, and during last night's peak about 1200 per hour. "We haven't seen the peak yet, but it's been a spectacular show so far," said Col. Don Jewell, a U.S. Space Command observer with the team. Both science teams (Mongolia and Australia) are expecting today's activities to proceed as planned.
