Leonid Report from Australia 17/18 Nov

Looks like most of the Eastern Seaboard was clouded out, although Melbourne
was clear, (but sky conditions not good). I observed from roughly radiant
rise to Nautical twilight.

16.00 UT on the 17th is 2.00 AEST on the 18th in Australia

One was of Mag +3, the other a fireball of Mag -3.0 which started near the
radiant, and burnt out near Orion. It had a long, relatively persistant,
orange tail.
