We  had a fine display. we estimated an Hr between 600 and 1000 meteors, 
no stormlevel but verry inpressive. On this moment te rate is stil 3-5 per minute.

It was a cold -6 C, clear night with a moderate wind, witch keeps your
feet cold enough. later this day we bring you more results

Dear fellow Meteorsobservers,

Here the visual report of the observers of the Dutch "Werkgroep Meteoren" in
cooperation with ESA, at the Calar Alto Observatory in Spain.
We observed the Leonids from 01.30 - 06.00 MET (00.30 - 05.00 UT) The sky was
very claer the limiting Magnitude was about M 6.3

Calar Alto Coordinates: 37 degr 13 min 24 sec and 02 degr 32 min 84 sec,
altitude 2180 meters above see level.
The leonids were visualy observed by Joost Hartman (HARJO) and Marc Neyts
(NEYMA). The activity was recorded bij tree intesified video-cameras,
one photometric ccd-camera. A radioreciever recorded the reflections of the
leonids. The allsky camera was there to photograph a possible fireball.  The
other cameras with 80 and 100 mm lenses were there to make low-resulation
spectroscopic images of the leonids
