This image of 55P/Tempel-Tuttle is a stack of 5 Pixcel 255 CCD images taken with a Celestron Fastar 8 telescope at F/2. The total exposure per image is 2 minutes. The field of view is 20 x 15 arcminutes and the region is near delta Ursa Majoris. The star magnitudes in this field range between 11.0 and 16.5 ! The brightest star near the center left = GSC 3837 559, mag 11.2. The comet was 1.25 AU from the Sun and 0.43 AU form Earth.
