Using the Astel 80 scope equipped with a Starlight Xpress MX5C CCD camera mounted on a PARAMOUNT GEM, 2 minute exposure. It was windy : 20 to 25 mph. Humidity : >80 %. Mike reported: "Tonight I was able to image comet Tempel-Tuttle while it passed though Andromeda. The images shows a 13.5 magnitude star only 20 arc seconds from the comet ( the star is GSC2813-172 ). In the top of the image is UGC1022, which is an oval galaxy of magnitude 14.6 which lies 14min 38sec North of the comet!"
